Pharmacy QFB. Emilia E. Vásquez Farías
"QFB. Emilia E. Vásquez Farías" is a pharmacy school established in 2001 with the primary goal of delivering pharmaceutical care. This care is directed towards aiding patients from the general public in their pharmacological treatment, ensuring they achieve the most favorable therapeutic outcomes in an efficient manner.
Furthermore, it serves as a training and development hub for students enrolled in the program Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Biology, both in the realms of pharmaceutical care, pharmaceutical technology, and community pharmacy.
The pharmacy is staffed by specialized professionals and stands as a model for pharmacies in the region. It not only fulfills the duties of a professional pharmacist but also actively advocates for the rational use of medicines.
There is also a Center for Information on Medicines and Pharmaceutical Counseling (CIMAF), whose objective is to promote the rational use of medicines and provide information and advice on their use to the general public, health professionals, researchers, teachers, and students.
